🌟 ASA Glass Fiber 1.75mm Filament – Profissional Lab
Profissional Lab's ASA-GF 1.75mm Filament is a glass fiber reinforced ASA designed for the most demanding applications — where UV resistance, dimensional stability, structural rigidity, and the ability to withstand severe weather conditions are critical requirements. Compared to standard ASA, glass fiber reinforcement adds significant rigidity, reduces thermal expansion, and improves dimensional stability, while retaining all the advantages of ASA: superior UV resistance, outdoor durability, chemical resistance, and a quality matte finish. Ideal for technical and functional parts for prolonged outdoor use.
🔹 Why choose Profissional Lab ASA-GF Filament?
- Superior UV and weather resistance — maintains mechanical and visual properties after prolonged exposure to sun and elements.
- Glass fiber reinforcement — much higher rigidity and dimensional stability than standard ASA, with lower thermal expansion.
- Quality matte finish — fewer visible layer lines, professional look straight from the printer.
- High impact and temperature resistance — suitable for technical components in demanding environments.
- Good chemical resistance — withstands exposure to oils, fuels, and common chemicals.
- Post-processable with acetone vapor — for a smooth, glossy finish when needed.
- Compatible with 1.75mm FDM 3D printers such as Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Anycubic, Elegoo, Artillery, Flashforge, and FLSUN.
- Diameter: 1.75 mm ± 0.03 mm | Net weight: 1 kg
✅ Advantages of ASA-GF 1.75mm
- Superior to standard ASA in rigidity, dimensional stability, and mechanical strength.
- Ideal for durable outdoor parts — resistant to UV, humidity, and thermal variations.
- Professional matte finish without mandatory post-processing.
- Suitable for technical, industrial, and engineering components.
⚙️ Recommended Printing Parameters
- Extrusion temperature: 250 – 270 °C
- Heated bed: 90 – 110 °C | Surface: PEI or glass with adhesive
- Fan: off or minimal (0 – 20%)
- Speed: 30 – 60 mm/s
- Recommended: enclosed chamber to reduce warping and improve layer adhesion
💡 Recommendations
- Hardened steel nozzle required — glass fiber is abrasive and quickly wears out brass nozzles.
- Enclosed chamber strongly recommended — significantly improves layer adhesion and reduces warping.
- Store in a dry place — ASA is hygroscopic. If it absorbs moisture, dry at 60–70°C for 5 to 8 hours before printing.
- For better bed adhesion, use 3DLAC, glue stick, or a heated PEI surface.
