🌟 1.75mm PLA Filament – Subink

Subink's 1.75mm PLA Filament is the ideal entry point for those new to 3D printing and a solid choice for experienced users who value ease of printing, low odor, and consistent results. Plant-based and biodegradable, PLA offers excellent layer adhesion, minimal warping, and a quality finish — perfect for prototypes, models, decorative pieces, and everyday functional objects.

🔹 Why choose Subink PLA Filament?

  • Easy to print — ideal for beginners and professionals, no enclosed chamber or heated bed required.
  • Low odor during printing — more pleasant for use in enclosed spaces.
  • Minimal warping and excellent layer adhesion — precise and consistent prints.
  • Biodegradable and plant-based — a more sustainable choice compared to other thermoplastics.
  • Wide range of applications — from prototypes and models to decorative objects and functional parts.
  • Compatible with 1.75mm FDM 3D printers like Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Anycubic, Elegoo, Artillery, Flashforge, and FLSUN.
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm ± 0.03 mm | Net weight: 1 kg

✅ Advantages of 1.75mm PLA

  • Easiest material to print on the market.
  • No enclosed chamber needed.
  • Quality finish with minimal post-processing.
  • Biodegradable and eco-friendly.

⚙️ Recommended Printing Parameters

  • Extrusion temperature: 190 – 240 °C
  • Heated bed: 55 – 65 °C (optional but recommended)
  • Fan: on
  • Speed: 30 – 200 mm/s

💡 Recommendations

  • Perfect for prototypes, models, decorative objects, and functional indoor use parts.
  • Store in a dry place — PLA is hygroscopic, and humidity can affect print quality.
  • For better bed adhesion, use PEI, glass, or 3DLAC surfaces.
  • Not recommended for high-temperature environments — PLA has low heat resistance compared to PETG or ABS.

Frequently asked questions

Is a heated bed necessary to print Subink PLA?

It is not mandatory, but it is recommended for better bed adhesion. Bed at 55–65°C, extrusion temperature 190–240°C, fan on, speed 30–200 mm/s.

What's the difference between PLA Subink and PLA Matte Subink?

PLA Subink has a standard glossy finish, while PLA Matte has a non-reflective matte surface. Both share the same mechanical properties and printing parameters.

Is PLA suitable for long-term functional parts?

PLA is suitable for light-to-moderate use functional parts. For environments with temperatures above 60°C or subject to high impacts, PETG or ABS are more suitable alternatives.

How should I store Subink PLA filament?

Store in an airtight bag with desiccant in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. PLA is hygroscopic — moisture absorption causes bubbles and irregularities during printing.
