Frequently asked questions
What temperature should I use to print PLA?
PLA generally prints between 190 and 220 °C at the extruder, with an optional heated bed between 50 and 60 °C. Adjust according to your printer and the results obtained.
Does PLA need drying before use?
Standard PLA absorbs little moisture, but in humid environments, it is recommended to dry it at 50°C for 4 to 6 hours before printing to ensure a better surface finish.
What is the delivery time to mainland Portugal?
Orders for mainland Portugal have an estimated delivery time of 2 to 4 business days after payment confirmation. Shipments to islands and the rest of Europe have different lead times.
How to store PLA filament correctly?
Store in an airtight bag with desiccant, in a dry place away from sunlight. PLA is sensitive to humidity and prolonged UV exposure, which can weaken it.
