Bambu Lab's PLA-CF 1.75mm Filament is a carbon fiber reinforced PLA that combines the characteristic ease of printing of PLA with significantly improved mechanical properties. With a matte finish and almost invisible layer lines, AMS compatible without clogging at high speed, and with low shrinkage and warping resistance, it is ideal for engineering parts, structural components, and models that require greater rigidity and a premium look — without sacrificing the ease of printing of conventional PLA. Includes an RFID tag for automatic parameter reading via AMS.

Yes, it is mandatory. Carbon fiber is abrasive and quickly wears out brass or stainless steel nozzles. Use a 0.4 / 0.6 or 0.8 mm hardened steel nozzle.

Is PLA-CF+ compatible with AMS and high-speed printing?

Yes. Bambu Lab PLA-CF+ is designed to be AMS-compatible without clogging risk at high speeds up to 200 mm/s, and can be combined with any PLA series filament.
