🔧 PETG – THE FILAMENT by Spectrum
PETG from THE FILAMENT by Spectrum is a high-quality filament that combines the ease of printing of PLA with the superior mechanical and thermal resistance of PETG. It is suitable for both technical prototypes and functional everyday parts, ensuring durability and excellent finish quality.
🔹 What makes THE FILAMENT PETG special?
High mechanical strength — more robust than conventional PLA.
Good thermal resistance — ideal for parts exposed to higher temperatures.
Excellent layer adhesion — solid and stable parts.
Low shrinkage — reduces the risk of warping in open printers.
Fully compatible with 1.75 mm FDM printers, including Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Anycubic, Elegoo, Artillery, Flashforge and FLSUN.
Diameter: 1.75 mm ± 0.03 mm
Net weight: 1kg
✅ Advantages
Excellent balance between durability and ease of printing.
Ideal for functional parts, prototypes, and durable accessories.
Good resistance to impacts and bending.
Does not release strong odors during printing.
⚙️ Printing Parameters
Extrusion temperature: 230 – 250 °C

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between PETG and PLA?
PETG is more resistant to impact, temperature, and moisture than PLA, making it ideal for functional parts. However, it requires higher printing temperatures (230–250 °C) and is more prone to stringing.
Does PETG need to be dried before use?
Yes, PETG absorbs moisture easily. It is recommended to dry it at 65 °C for 4 to 6 hours before printing, especially if the spool has been exposed to the environment.
What is the delivery time for mainland Portugal?
Orders to mainland Portugal have an estimated delivery time of 2 to 4 working days after payment confirmation. Shipments to islands and other European countries have different delivery times.
How to prevent stringing in PETG?
Reduce the print temperature, increase retraction and travel speed without extrusion. PEI and 3DLAC surfaces help with adhesion without over-fixing.
