🖤 PETG – Profissional Lab

Profissional Lab's Black PETG is a robust and versatile filament, ideal for those seeking mechanical resistance, good thermal stability and ease of printing. Combining the advantages of PLA and ABS, PETG is perfect for functional parts, technical prototypes, durable accessories, and decorative objects.

🔹 What makes PETG special?

  • High resistance — withstands impacts and mechanical stress.
  • Good thermal stability — handles heat better compared to PLA.
  • Less warping — reduces the risk of deformation.
  • Compatible with 1.75 mm FDM printers, including Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Anycubic, Elegoo, Artillery, Flashforge, and FLSUN.
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm ± 0.03 mm | Net weight: 1kg

✅ Advantages

  • Reliable material for domestic, professional, and industrial use.
  • Good layer adhesion for stronger parts.
  • Surface with a smooth and uniform finish.
  • Excellent balance between durability and ease of printing.

⚙️ Printing Parameters

  • Extrusion temperature: 230 – 260 °C
  • Heated bed: 70 – 90 °C
  • Part cooling fan: 30 – 100% (depending on the part)
  • Printing speed: up to 120 mm/s

💡 Notes and Recommendations

  • Store in a dry place — PETG is sensitive to moisture.
  • Dry before use to avoid bubbles and adhesion failures.
  • Recommended for technical and functional parts that require resistance.
  • Use adhesives like 3DLAC or a PEI surface for better bed adhesion.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between PETG and PLA?

PETG is more resistant to impact, temperature, and moisture than PLA, making it ideal for functional parts. However, it requires higher printing temperatures (230–250 °C) and is more prone to stringing.

Does PETG need to be dried before use?

Yes, PETG absorbs moisture easily. It is recommended to dry it at 65 °C for 4 to 6 hours before printing, especially if the spool has been exposed to the environment.

What is the delivery time for mainland Portugal?

Orders to mainland Portugal have an estimated delivery time of 2 to 4 working days after payment confirmation. Shipments to islands and other European countries have different delivery times.

How to avoid stringing in PETG?

Reduce the print temperature, increase retraction and travel speed without extrusion. PEI and 3DLAC surfaces help with adhesion without over-fixing.
