🌟 Subink Matte PETG 1.75mm Filament

Subink's Matte PETG 1.75mm Filament combines the ease of printing and chemical resistance of standard PETG with a sophisticated and understated matte finish. Without the characteristic gloss of conventional PETG, it offers a more refined and professional visual result, making details easier to see and post-processing simpler. With excellent mechanical strength, low shrinkage, and good layer adhesion, it is ideal for functional parts, technical prototypes, and decorative objects that require a polished look without the need for additional finishing.

🔹 Why choose Subink Matte PETG Filament?

  • Elegant and subtle matte finish — no reflections, enhances details and provides a professional appearance.
  • Excellent mechanical and chemical resistance — withstands physical stresses and exposure to common chemicals.
  • Good flexibility and durability — less brittle than PLA, easier to print than ABS.
  • Low shrinkage and good layer adhesion — precise and dimensionally stable prints.
  • Moisture and impact resistant — ideal for long-lasting parts.
  • Compatible with 1.75mm FDM 3D printers such as Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Anycubic, Elegoo, Artillery, Flashforge, and FLSUN.
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm ± 0.03 mm | Net weight: 1 kg

✅ Advantages of Matte PETG 1.75mm

  • More resistant and durable than PLA.
  • Sophisticated matte finish without additional post-processing.
  • Ideal surface for painting, varnishing, or other coatings.
  • Easy to print without an enclosed chamber.

⚙️ Recommended Printing Parameters

  • Extrusion temperature: 220 – 240 °C
  • Heated bed: 60 – 80 °C
  • Fan: on at reduced speed
  • Speed: 40 – 100 mm/s

💡 Recommendations

  • Perfect for electronics enclosures, robotics parts, prototypes, decorative objects, and presentation models.
  • Store in a dry place — PETG is moderately hygroscopic. If it absorbs moisture, dry it at ~50°C for a few hours before printing.
  • For better bed adhesion, use PEI, glass, or 3DLAC surfaces.
  • Avoid excessive speeds to prevent stringing — reduce retraction if necessary.

Frequently asked questions

Is the matte finish of PETG Matte as durable as glossy PETG?

Yes, the mechanical and chemical properties are identical to standard PETG. The matte finish is an aesthetic feature that does not compromise the strength or durability of the parts.

Is an enclosed chamber necessary to print Matte PETG?

Not mandatory. Recommended temperature: 220–240°C, bed at 60–80°C, fan at reduced speed, speed 40–100 mm/s.

Is Matte PETG suitable for painting or post-processing?

Yes, the matte surface absorbs paints and primers better than glossy PETG, making it a good base for parts that will be painted or treated after printing.

How should I store PETG Matte filament?

Store in an airtight bag with desiccant in a dry place. Moisture absorption in PETG can cause stringing during printing and affect the matte surface finish.
