Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between PETG and PLA?
PETG is more resistant to impact, temperature, and humidity than PLA, making it ideal for functional parts. In contrast, it requires higher printing temperatures (230–250 °C) and is more prone to stringing.
Does PETG+ CF need to be dried before use?
Yes, PETG+ CF absorbs moisture easily. It is recommended to dry it at 65 °C for 4 to 6 hours before printing, especially if the spool has been exposed to the environment.
What is the delivery time for mainland Portugal?
Orders to mainland Portugal have an estimated delivery time of 2 to 4 business days after payment confirmation. Shipments to the islands and Europe have different timeframes.
How to avoid stringing with PETG?
Reduce the printing temperature, increase retraction and travel speed. PEI and 3DLAC surfaces help with adhesion without over-adhering.
