Original Prusa Parts - E3D High Flow Brass Nozzle – Nextruder (0.4 mm)

€39,29 EUR

The E3D Prusa High Flow Brass 0.4 mm Nozzle is the official high-flow nozzle developed by E3D in partnership with Prusa for the Nextruder. With 4-channel internal geometry, it allows for significantly higher volumetric flow rates than the standard 0.4 mm brass nozzle — maintaining the industry-standard diameter with much greater speed. Direct drop-in upgrade, all-metal path without PTFE, and a maximum temperature of 300°C. Compatible with MK4, MK4S, MK3.9, MK3.9S, XL, CORE One, CORE One+, and CORE One L.

🌟 E3D Prusa High Flow Brass Nozzle – Nextruder (0.4 mm)

The E3D Prusa High Flow Brass Nozzle is the official high-flow nozzle developed by E3D in partnership with Prusa for the Nextruder, available in 0.4 mm and 0.6 mm. With a unique internal geometry that divides the filament into 4 channels and increases the contact area with the melt zone, it allows for significantly higher volumetric flow rates than the standard brass nozzle — translating into higher printing speeds without loss of quality. It maintains the exact same form factor as the native Prusa Nozzle, with an all-metal hotend and quick change.

🔹 What distinguishes the E3D Prusa High Flow Brass Nozzle?

  • Exclusive high-flow internal geometry — divides the filament into 4 channels for a larger contact area with the melt zone, significantly increasing volumetric flow rate compared to the standard nozzle.
  • Much faster printing — higher volumetric flow rate substantially reduces print time.
  • All-metal hotend — no PTFE anywhere in the filament path, for greater reliability and support for higher temperatures.
  • Drop-in upgrade — exact same form factor as the standard Prusa Nozzle; no need to adjust existing mounts, fans, or settings.
  • 0.4 mm diameter — the industry standard, ideal for the perfect balance between detail and speed, now with a much higher flow rate than the standard nozzle.
  • Quick change — direct fit into the Nextruder without complex disassembly.
  • Genuine E3D nozzle — industry-leading quality for precise and consistent extrusion.
  • Maximum temperature of 300°C — for PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, and standard materials.

✅ Advantages

  • Much higher printing speeds than the standard 0.4 mm brass nozzle.
  • Direct upgrade without printer modifications — same form factor, higher performance.
  • All-metal hotend for greater reliability and thermal support.
  • Developed specifically for the Nextruder in partnership with Prusa.

Frequently asked questions

What Prusa printers are compatible with this E3D High Flow 0.4mm nozzle?

Compatible with Prusa MK4, MK4S, MK3.9, MK3.9S, XL, CORE One, CORE One+, and CORE One L. Not compatible with MK3.5, MK3.5S, MK3S+, MK3, MK2.5S, MK2.5, MINI, MINI+, MMU3, SL1S, HT90, or INDX.

What is the difference between the E3D High Flow 0.4mm and the Nextruder Brass Nozzle 0.4mm standard?

The High Flow 4-channel internal geometry increases the maximum volumetric flow rate compared to the standard 0.4 mm nozzle, allowing for much higher print speeds. The outer diameter is identical — it's a direct drop-in upgrade.

Is this nozzle suitable for abrasive filaments like CF or GF?

No. For abrasive filaments, use the hardened steel nozzle, sold separately. Brass wears out quickly with materials such as PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PA-CF, or glass fibre composites.

Is it also available in 0.6 mm?

Yes. The E3D Prusa High Flow Brass Nozzle is available in 0.4 mm and 0.6 mm, sold separately. The 0.6 mm is suitable for larger and even faster prints.
