Frequently asked questions
Which Prusa printers are compatible with the Nextruder CHT Nozzle?
Compatible with Prusa MK4, MK4S, MK3.9, MK3.9S, XL, CORE One, CORE One+, and CORE One L. Not compatible with MK3.5, MK3.5S, MK3S+, MK3, MK2.5S, MK2.5, MINI, MINI+, MMU3, SL1S, HT90, or INDX.
What is the difference between the CHT Nozzle and the E3D High Flow Nozzle for the Nextruder?
Both are all-metal high-flow nozzles for the Nextruder. The CHT is the stock nozzle for the MK4S/MK3.9S/CORE One — ideal as a direct replacement part. The E3D High Flow is developed in partnership with E3D with a distinct 4-channel geometry. Both increase flow compared to the standard nozzle.
Is this CHT nozzle suitable for abrasive filaments like CF or GF?
No. For abrasive filaments such as PLA-CF, PETG-CF or PA-CF, use the hardened steel nozzle, sold separately. Brass wears quickly with abrasive materials.
Which diameter should I choose — 0.4 mm or 0.6 mm?
0.4 mm is the industry standard diameter — great for detail and general use. 0.6 mm is for faster, larger volume prints with less detail. Select before ordering — sold individually in the chosen diameter.
