The Hall Filament Sensor is the official Prusa replacement part for the Nextruder — compatible with MK4, MK4S, MK3.9, XL, and the entire CORE One family. Based on Hall effect technology, it detects the presence and movement of the filament with high precision, automatically pausing printing in case of runout or breakage, so you never lose a print due to lack of material. It includes a FLEX Mode via physical switch to temporarily disable the sensor when printing flexible filaments such as TPU.

What is FLEX Mode and when should I use it?
