🌟 ABS-GF 1.75mm Filament – Subink

Subink's ABS-GF 1.75mm Filament is a high-performance composite material that combines the durability and thermal resistance of ABS with the added rigidity of glass fiber. Developed for demanding applications, it offers excellent dimensional stability, low warping, and a matte finish with a characteristic fiber texture — ideal for functional parts, structural components, and technical prototypes that require high strength and dimensional accuracy.

🔹 Why choose Subink ABS-GF Filament?

  • High rigidity and mechanical strength — superior to standard ABS thanks to glass fiber reinforcement.
  • Excellent dimensional stability — low shrinkage and less warping compared to conventional ABS.
  • Good heat resistance — suitable for environments with high thermal demands.
  • Matte finish with fiber texture — premium and professional appearance.
  • Good layer adhesion — precise and durable prints.
  • Compatible with 1.75 mm FDM 3D printers such as Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Anycubic, Elegoo, Artillery, Flashforge, and FLSUN.
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm ± 0.03 mm | Net weight: 1 kg

✅ Advantages of ABS-GF 1.75mm

  • Greater rigidity and strength than standard ABS.
  • Excellent for technical, structural, and high-performance parts.
  • Sophisticated matte finish without additional post-processing.
  • Low shrinkage and more precise and durable prints.

⚙️ Recommended Printing Parameters

  • Extrusion temperature: 250 – 270 °C
  • Heated bed: 100 – 110 °C
  • Fan: off or reduced
  • Speed: 40 – 100 mm/s
  • Recommended: use an enclosed chamber to reduce warping

💡 Recommendations

  • Hardened steel nozzle is mandatory — glass fiber is abrasive and quickly wears down brass nozzles.
  • Perfect for automotive components, aerospace parts, industrial tools, and structures requiring high rigidity.
  • Store in a dry place to maintain print quality.
  • For better bed adhesion, use 3DLAC, PEI surfaces, or specific ABS adhesives.

Frequently asked questions

Is it mandatory to use a hardened steel nozzle for ABS-GF?

Yes. Fiberglass is highly abrasive and quickly damages brass nozzles. A hardened steel nozzle or higher, 0.4mm or larger, is recommended.

Does ABS-GF require an enclosed chamber?

Yes, it is highly recommended to avoid warping and delamination. Recommended temperature: 250–270°C, bed at 100–110°C, fan off or reduced, speed 40–100 mm/s.

What is the main advantage of ABS-GF over standard ABS?

ABS-GF has higher rigidity, lower shrinkage, and better dimensional stability than standard ABS, resulting in more precise parts with less tendency to deform during printing.

How should I store ABS Glass Fiber filament?

Store in an airtight bag with desiccant in a dry place. ABS easily absorbs moisture, which can cause bubbles, strings, and poor layer adhesion during printing.
